  18. <p>     To serve or not to serve, that was the question. Facing
  19. compulsory military duty in his native Italy seven years ago,
  20. Stefano Casiraghi had an excuse: a genital tumor, which could
  21. cause impotence. By the time he and Monaco's Princess Caroline
  22. had a second child in 1986, however, Italian authorities were
  23. investigating the claim. Though he's now a Monegasque,
  24. Casiraghi, 29, is to stand trial in Milan on charges of lying
  25. to officials. He and Caroline now have three children.
