- <p> To serve or not to serve, that was the question. Facing
- compulsory military duty in his native Italy seven years ago,
- Stefano Casiraghi had an excuse: a genital tumor, which could
- cause impotence. By the time he and Monaco's Princess Caroline
- had a second child in 1986, however, Italian authorities were
- investigating the claim. Though he's now a Monegasque,
- Casiraghi, 29, is to stand trial in Milan on charges of lying
- to officials. He and Caroline now have three children.
